the website: 'Carmen Electra was born on April 20th, 1972, in White Oak,
Ohio, near Cincinnati. Her original name was Tara Leigh Patrick, and she
was born of Irish, German, and Cherokee descent.
After high school, in 1991, Carmen moved to Los Angeles, California. She changed her name to Carmen Electra and collaborated with musician Prince to develop a music career, signing a contract with Prince's record company, Paisley Park Records.
In 1995, she began various TV program appearances, and in 1996, was featured in Playboy magazine. This exposure in Playboy led to other television roles on shows such as Baywatch (1997-1998) and MTV's Singled Out (1997).
Carmen dated B-Real of 'Cypress Hill' (1994-1998) who she worked with on a second musical album. She married basketball star Dennis Rodman from 1998-1999. She then married musician Dave Navarro in 2003, who was the lead guitarist for the bands 'Red Hot Chili Peppers' and 'Jane's Addiction'.
Carmen has starred or appeared in over 200 movies and television programs as of 2005.
