Sexual morality can be founded on the following principles;
1. Informed Consent. By informed, we obviously mean knowing the truth (which is why philosophy is important to morality). Likewise, age must be relevant for some consenting behaviours.
2. Do Unto Others (Do Not Harm Others).
We do not think sexual morality founded on religious myths is useful - that a good understanding of our sexual evolution is necessary if we are to act in an informed mutually beneficial way when it comes to sexual behaviours. However as moral, rational creatures we do not believe that human behaviour should we governed exactly how evolution dictates. Rather, it is important to understand the truth about our evolution, such that we can better understand our instincts and how to regulate them in socially acceptable ways.
From an evolutionary perspective, humans have evolved primitive sexual behaviors (some unpleasant) - but we have also evolved a social / moral instinct. e.g. To care and help others, to work together and not cause harm.
Evolution can be applied to human sexual morality in two distinct ways.
1. Our biological sexuality (what is 'normal' human sexual behaviour). Studies suggest that Humans are very adaptable creatures, and that there are in fact many diverse sexual behaviours that can be considered normal.
2. Our cultural evolution and the resultant socially accepted / legal sexual behaviours that exist in our present culture.
Thus evolutionary philosophy suggests that humans have evolved a diversity of sexual behaviours that are all 'normal' in a sense, and these behaviours are further regulated by cultural standards of what we consider to be moral.
We do wish to emphasise that our prime concern is to help promote an open honest discussion about our sexual evolution. We obviously do not support unlawful / immoral behavior, whether it is founded on a sexual instinct or not.
We will be collecting more academic essays on sexual morality over time. I am interested in exploring the role of religion (in particular christianity) has had upon our human sexual morality.

and sexual activity. Conceptual analysis is also carried out in attempting

Normative philosophy of sexuality inquires about the value of sexual
activity and sexual pleasure and of the various forms they take. It investigates
what contribution is made to the good or virtuous life by sexuality,
and tries to determine what moral obligations we have to refrain from
performing certain sexual acts and what moral permissions we have to

Christian religion believes sexual intercourse before marriage and homosexuality are immoral and sinful. Chastity is virtuous and moral. But if one can not commit to a life of chastity (no sexual relations or behaviour) it is better to be married. As wrote the Apostle Saint Paul;
Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife and every woman have her own husband."(Corinthians I, 7:2) "I say this by way of concession, not of command. For I wish that all men were as I myself am. .. Therefore, I say to the unmarried and the widows that it is good for them to remain singles as I am. But if they cannot exercise self-control, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn. (Corinthians I, 7:6-9)
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. There is one sermon in the Christian Bible which condemns visual and physical adultery. It is one of the Ten Commandments.
Thou shalt not commit adultery. But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. (Matthew, 5:27-29)
