From the website: 'Jessica Simpson (born July 10, 1980) is an American
pop singer and actress. She was raised in Dallas, Texas, and began her performing
career with gospel acts. Jessica caught the eye of Columbia Records, and
after joining a tour in support of the boy-band 98 Degrees, she released
her debut album in 1999, Sweet Kisses. The album reached double platinum,
featuring the hit, "I Wanna Love You Forever," which was #3 on
the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Jessica's second and third albums Irresistible (2001) and In This Skin (2003)
reached four times platinum.
Having made her mark in the music industry, it wasn’t long before Hollywood was knocking on her door.
