Introduction / Summary (2012): Hello and welcome to our Sexuality pages. The video provides a good introduction which we think you will enjoy!
While this is not a pornographic site, it is provocative - founded upon what people search on the Internet (which is very interesting!). We then relate this to our biological and cultural evolution. We have also just added a Sex Questions and Answers section - so ask a question, we try to reply within 48 hours.

Sex is obviously important to people - and if you want to improve your sexual relationships then knowing the truth about our human evolution is the best foundation. By opening our minds to a greater diversity of behaviors, this knowledge will help you creatively cultivate healthy pleasurable moral attitudes and sexy smutty relationships (free from religious guilt & cultural myths).

Support an open honest discussion on the truth of our sexual evolution and behaviour. If you support sex positive, moral, informed sexual behaviour please share this knowledge. (These pages have a diverse collection of fascinating information relating to our human sexual evolution so people will appreciate it).

About this Philosophy Website on Truth and Reality: We are listed as one of the top Philosophy Websites on the Internet with around 600,000 page views each week. The central thesis of philosophy is that we must know the truth to act wisely and truth is founded on a correct understanding of physical reality.
Clearly people have a strong sexual instinct due to our evolution and survival as a species. However, our planet faces many serious environmental problems, thus our survival now depends on a true understanding of our place in nature, as a way of better protecting life on earth. Truth and reality are beautiful subjects which are profoundly important to our future survival - they are the source of wisdom, the foundation for everything you see and experience in the universe!

Internet Content Rating Association (ICRA)

The Internet Content Rating Association (ICRA) is an international, non-profit organization of internet leaders working to develop a safer internet. ICRA has long believed that self-regulation leads to the best balance between the free flow of digital content and protecting children from potentially harmful material.

The centre piece of the organization is the descriptive vocabulary, often referred to as 'the ICRA questionnaire.' Content providers check which of the elements in the questionnaire are present or absent from their websites. This then generates a small file containing the labels, which is then linked to the content on one or more domains.

Users, especially parents of young children, can then use filtering software (see below) to allow or disallow access to web sites based on the information declared in the label. A key point is that the Internet Content Rating Association does not rate internet content - the content providers do that, using the ICRA labeling system. ICRA makes no value judgment about sites.

Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP)

Founded in 1996, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography (CP) from the Internet. ASACP battles child pornography through its CP reporting hotline, and by organizing the efforts of the online adult industry to combat child sexual abuse. ASACP also works to help parents prevent children from viewing age-inappropriate material online.

Shutting down CP sites (and catching child pornographers!) can only happen if suspected sites are reported and investigated. But it's hard for the government to review all the reports with which they're inundated. In addition, members of the general public surfing the web may feel uncomfortable contacting government agencies.
Fortunately, ASACP fosters communication and cooperation with the online adult industry. This means we have the outreach and access to involve adult sites and their customers, as well as the knowledge and technical ability to review submitted reports, and forward suspect sites to the authorities.

* ASACP provides an online hotline for web surfers and webmasters to report suspected child pornography. Our many member sites provide links to this hotline, which receives thousands of reports every month.

* ASACP investigates these reports and determines the hosting, billing, IP address, ownership, and linkage of suspected CP sites. ASACP then forwards Red Flag reports to the appropriate government agencies and associations. These include the FBI and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, as well as European hotlines. We also notify ISPs and payment processors when their hosting and billing services are hijacked by CP operators.

* ASACP's Approved Member program for adult sites offers a model of effective self-regulation for the online adult industry. Approved Member sites are required to comply with our Code of Ethics.

* ASACP has established Best Practices for members, which are recommended not just for adult sites, but also for search engines, billing and hosting companies, dating sites, and others.

* ASACP created the RTA ("Restricted to Adults") label to better enable parental filtering, and to demonstrate the online adult industry's commitment to helping parents prevent children from viewing age-inappropriate content.

* ASACP keeps its members informed on current laws and regulations pertaining to child pornography and child protection, as well as new and pending legislation.

* ASACP works to educate and inform its members, the online adult industry, government policy makers, and the public about issues related to child protection, illegal online activities, and the efforts of the online adult industry to battle child sexual abuse.

The Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI)

The Family Online Safety Institute is an international, non-profit organization that facilitates the meeting of thought leaders in technology and policy in order to find innovative solutions for family online safety. The mission of the Family Online Safety Institute is to identify and promote best practices, tools and methods in the field of online safety.

Advocating a balanced approach with greater parental involvement and empowerment, comprehensive industry self-regulation and reasonable government oversight and support, the Institute provides a unique forum for thought leaders to exchange information, develop ideas and refine solutions.

The Institute incorporates the work and mission of the Internet Content Rating Association (ICRA), the world's leading content labeling system for the Internet, providing families with the tools they need to protect their children while ensuring the continued free expression of content providers. In addition to this technological side to the Institute, FOSI also utilizes events, public policy and education to address the challenge of family online safety.

Restricted to Adults (RTA)

The Restricted To Adults website label was created by the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) to better enable parental filtering, and to demonstrate the online adult industry's commitment to helping parents prevent children from viewing age-inappropriate content.

The RTA label is free to use, voluntary, and universally available to any website that wishes to clearly and effectively label itself as being inappropriate for viewing by minors. Just add the following code to the page's meta tags.

Free Speech Coalition

Censorship is a very difficult & complex subject. Some forms of censorship are universally accepted as good (e.g. protecting children from adult content / sexual exploitation).
However, there are also many harmful forms of censorship, often relating to freedom of political, scientific and religious expression.

We are supporters of the Free Speech Coalition.
